Aithan – In Honor of Rita Seferian
Aithan is using his funding for Saras Garden Summer Program.Rita has been a part of the iAm family for years, although you may not see her often as she is stuck in the back of our events in charge of organizing and counting all of the proceeds we received. You might think this is an easy job, but it takes hours, even days, to make sure the accounting is correctly tallied. Having people like Rita volunteer her time to perform these important tasks, allows us the ability to give funds to children like Aithanwe dont have to spend our funds on hiring firms or employees, and all the funding can go where we promise it willto our iAm kids!
Brennan – In Honor of Roberta Koralewski
Brennan will continue using his scholarship at the Wood County Hospital for Speech Therapy. A note from the family:”This scholarship helps Brennan to be able to continue with the therapists who he knows and trusts and assists us with affording the higher frequency of sessions that can help him prepare for Kindergarten. We appreciate all of your support for the Autistic community and families like ours. Thank you so much for all you do.”
Brandon – Renewal In Honor of Lisa Mcgowan
Brandon is again attending speech therapy at UT and taking piano lessons with his scholarship money. Brandon and his mom continue to be active volunteers with Project iAm right along side Judge Lisa McGowan. We are so fortunate to have such great families and friends help this organization pay it forward to other families!
Gabriel – Renewal In Honor of Tj Stratton
“I wanted to share with you Gabriels amazing achievement last week at the UT preschool:During play time, he came up to a peer who was playing with some magnets on the wall and asked him Be my friend? and then started playing nicely next to him. This is the first time ever that Gabriel tries to make a new friend!!! His teacher was able to capture this moment in picture (see below).” –Tatiana, Mother
Landon – In Honor of Kim Kohl
Landon has been using his renewal scholarship for his third year of a Summer Reading Program. We were saddened and shocked to lose Kim Kohl in 2017, our faithful and fun volunteer. We are proud to continue to honor her family with funding for Landon.
Drake – Renewal In Honor of Sid Marious
Our 2019 Holidays had a great surprise from our own Secret Angel! Tyler loved his pop up tent for ASD privacy while Drake enjoyed software to help with his ASD needs!
Alex – In Honor of Michael Glabicki
Alex has been an iAm kid for the last ten years. We are so happy that his mom Lauren is still volunteering at our events and making iAm the success it is today. Michael Glabicki, Rusted Root Frontman, is always one of the first musicians in line to come and put on a great show for our cause. Michael was the first national concert we ever had and continuously remains close to our cause.
Gabriel – In Honor of Tj Stratton
Gabriel is using his renewal scholarship for funding for all different kinds of sensory items. Since his therapy has been doing him wonders, Gabriel’s aide believes that having additional resources at home, will help him continue to progress!
Jayden – In Honor of Small Box Music
Jayden is using funding for the Rehab Dynamic Summer Program. Small Box Music is a new addition to the Acoustics for Autism event and allowed us to add a quiet, 7th stage! This was a huge hit in 2019 and cant wait to continue working with Allison and John at Small Box!
Devin – Renewal In Honor of Dani Herrera
Devin is no stranger to the Project iAm Scholarship fund. He continues to use swimming as a great ASD activity which is highly recommended by his family and doctors! We all know and love Dani and her dedication to the arts and to our Project iAm Family. Without her constant assistance and kindness, Devin would not benefit the way he does! We are so happy to see you continue to excel, Devin!
