Celebrating our scholarship recipients.

Every name on this page represents a story of perseverance, hope, and community support. Each recipient reminds us how your generosity opens doors and changes lives. Explore our scholarship recipients by year, and join us in celebrating the difference we’re making together.

Devin – Renewal In Honor of Dani Herrera

Devin is using his funding this year for YMCA camp to help with his equestrian therapy. Throughout any problems she and her family may have on their own, Dani has consistently been supportive of the community and Acoustics for Autism. We are so happy that she has remained a friend of Project iAm and loves to hear about Devins progress as he grows!

Devan – Renewal In Honor of Shelley Nytray

Devan comes back to us as one of our very first scholarship recipients! He will be attending treatment at Brain Balance. Shelley, although living in Chicago, has stayed a constant factor and volunteer with Project iAm. Because of that faith in our charity when we began, we have been able to become the great organization we are today! Thank you Shelley for your constant faith in us!

Jaxson – Renewal In Honor of The Andersons

We appreciate the support of Project iAm as well as the generosity from the Anderson Family for our son Jaxson. The continuous support has allowed for therapists to assist Jaxson and encourage him to participate in every day activities and how to be included in our community; functions we take for granted. Jaxson is learning to better interact and participate outside of home and school life.

Ryker – In Honor of Hayley Posner

Ryker is new to the iAm family and is using funding to go to summer camp at the New Horizons Academy this year! Hayley has been around for the last several years, primarily as the vault girl at Acoustics for Autism. Shes stepped up her volunteering significantly is the last year and is the reason we are able to help more children, like Ryker!

Kennedy – In Honor of Gary Geer

Kennedy is using her funding for ABA therapy at Mercy Health. Gary is simply the guy who says what can I do for you now? Even while battling his own health issues, he has been one of our go to people for all of our events including running around the city for us collecting donations and supplies. The dedication to our cause and to volunteering for Project iAm is exactly what our organization is about

Eloise – In Honor of Ken Koleszar

Eloise is a new addition to our Project iAm Family and will be using her funding to have ABA therapy at home while waiting for programs to open up! Kenny is a familiar face at all of our Project iAm events. You will see him doing everything from carrying ice and beverages, to being security, running silent auction items, to selling raffle tickets. Kenny has been a part of Project iAm since we started in 2008, simply because he loves the organization and what we stand for. Thank you Kenny for all your years of service!

Tyler –

We used funds from volunteering for Acoustics for Autism to get an exercise bike for Tyler, age 11. Tyler and his sister Liv are doing all remote classes during the pandemic. Mom, Lauren, is immunocompromised from Lyme disease. Homeschooling is very challenging and often the instructor will ask Ty to run around to get the wiggles out. Lauren thought a bike might help. Lauren purchased an app to take you on an excursion while you ride. So far there is lots of enthusiasm! Thank you! Such a great organization!

Sam – Renewal In Honor of The City of Maumee

Sam is continuing to use his funding for Innate Chiropractic for his ASD needs. The City of Maumee is and will continue to be our home for Acoustics for Autism. Without the generosity of the city and the willingness to help us at every turn our biggest fundraiser for our scholarship fund, would not be able to occur!
