Spring 2009

First & Second Quarter Scholarship Recipients

Zade and Faris: In Honor of Moussa Salloukh and Jeff Gase. Zade and Faris are our second quarter recipients of our Spotlight Family Scholarship and are using funds toward two communication devices. Namesakes Moussa and Jeff have supported Project iAm by naming us their charities for the Fat Tuesday, St. Patrick’s Day, and Cinco de Mayo parties. Due to their faith in Project iAm, we have also been chosen as the charity for Red White and Kaboom at Promenade Park for July 3&4. 2009

Jack: In Honor of The Wagner Boys. Jack is our second quarter recipient who is using funds toward the use of an HBOT machine. The Wagner boys (Sam, Teddy, and John Paul) saved $200 toward buying a Wii this year. When they won the Wii at Acoustics for Autism, they donated all their hard earned money back to Project iAm!

Zane: In Honor of Brian and Nancy Sniegocki. Zane is our first quarter recipient of the HOPE program scholarship. Brian and Nancy have not only selfless given and volunteered to Project iAm, but are solely responsible for our being chosen as the charity for the 2008 and 2009 Lucas County Rib Off!

Aidan: In Honor of Tom Sullivan and Nikki & John Schafer. Aidan is our second quarter recipient of the ASNO summer program. Tom “Sully” Sullivan and the Shafers have always kindly provided a home for Project iAm through The Village Idiot. Without question or hesitation, these fine people allow us to have our meetings, benefits, and concerts at their establishment. Thank you for continuously supporting Project iAm and our recipients!

Austin: In Honor of our Chicago Volunteers. Austin is our second quarter recipient of the SAIL program scholarship. Nina Elliot, Allison Parasiliti, and Shelley Nyitray. We are so lucky to have supporters in cities outside of Toledo. Our faithful friends in Chicago not only get us amazing prizes for raffles at our events, but also have driven countless hours to volunteer for us. We thank you for not only helping us, but for getting those great Chicagoans to wear our wristbands!!

Cahill: In Honor of Chuck Foreman. Cahill is our second quarter recipient of the HOPE program scholarship. Chuck Foreman is known as the wristband man at all of our events! He has donated countless hours selling wristbands and supporting us in any way he can!

Brian: In Honor of Zak Ward: Brian is our second quarter recipient of the Toledo Hearing and Speech program scholarship. Zak Ward is our wonderful web designer who has donated a plethora of hours to making our websites what they are today! Zak also gets thrown into all the “roadie” positions at all our shows. Thank you so much for everything you do.

Ashley: In Honor of Pam Myers: Ashley is our first quarter recipient of the Toledo Hearing and Speech program scholarship. Pam Myers, and all of the people at Toledo Hearing and Speech, have supported Project iAm from before day one. Through volunteering, countless information, and willingness to help us with anything we need, Pam has been one of the people who have kept us going from the start!
